The carrier-locked version of the Galaxy S23 FE is getting a new update with firmware version S711USQU2BXBE in the US. It is currently available on AT&T's network, but we expect it to expand to other carriers soon.
The factory-unlocked version of the smartphone is also getting the new update, and it comes bearing firmware version S711U1UES2BXB6. This version of the phone is getting the new update on almost all carrier networks, including AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Cellular South, Cricket, C-Spire, DISH, Metro PCS, Tracfone, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile.
The February 2024 security update fixes 72 security vulnerabilities in the previous software version. It doesn't bring any new features, and you must wait for the One UI 6.1 update to see new features on your Galaxy S23 FE. The One UI 6.1 update is expected to bring some AI features and other minor new features to the Galaxy S23 FE.
If you have a Galaxy S23 FE and live in the US, you can now check for the new update on your device. You can do that by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install on your phone. You can also find the new firmware files in our database. You can download the appropriate firmware file and flash it on your phone.
