The South Korean tech giant's flagship smartphone was used to capture shots for Vogue India's magazine cover. The magazine's photographers used the Galaxy S22 Ultra's Pro mode to shoot the cover photo. They also captured shots in RAW format to make it easier to edit images in post-production. They also made an entire behind-the-scenes video.
Photographer Indrani Joshi, who shot the magazine cover for Vogue India, “It never felt like I was shooting on a phone.” The Galaxy S22 Ultra features a 108MP primary camera with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide camera with autofocus, a 10MP 3x zoom camera with OIS, a 10MP 10x zoom camera with OIS, and a 40MP front-facing camera.
All the cameras on the smartphone can record 4K 60fps videos. The device can also record 8K 24fps videos using the primary camera. It can also capture portrait images in low-light conditions, thanks to the night mode that activates when there isn't enough light. Samsung also worked with social media apps to make the Galaxy S22 Ultra's camera perform better inside apps.
