Galaxy S22 receives June 2024 security update

After Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23, Samsung is now rolling out the June 2024 security patch to the Galaxy S22 series smartphones. The company has made the software update available for the variants of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra that it sells in Europe. They have model numbers SM-S901B, SM-S906B, and SM-S908B.

The June 2024 security patch fixes 59 security issues. The software updates that bring the latest security update to the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra carry firmware versions S901BXXSAEXEC, S906BXXSAEXEC, and S908BXXSAEXEC respectively.

As usual, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install to get the update or download it from our database. Samsung should make the latest software update available to other variants of the Galaxy S22 series smartphones in the next few weeks.
