A few weeks ago, Samsung released the stable Android 12 update to the Galaxy S21 series in a few markets. However, the company had to halt the update due to incompatibility issues with the Google Play system. A few days ago, the company released the update in more countries. Now, Samsung has released the Android 12 update in China.

The Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra has firmware version G99x0ZCU2BUL3. Apart from all the new One UI 4.0 features like Material You design, improved privacy and security, and privacy indicators, the update also brings the December 2021 security patch and various Samsung-specific features.

If you are a Galaxy S21 series smartphone user in China, you can download the Android 12 update by heading over to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually using a Windows computer.

Samsung had launched the Galaxy S21 series earlier this year with Android 11-based One UI 3.1. Apart from the Android 12 update, the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra will get two more Android OS updates in the future.
