A few days ago, Samsung released the June 2022 security update. The new software was first released to the Galaxy Tab S7 series. Now, it is being rolled out to the Galaxy S21 series in Europe.
The latest software update for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra comes with firmware version G998BXXU5CVEB. The update is currently available in Germany, but we expect it to be released in other European countries within a matter of days. Other regions like Asia, Africa, and the Americas should get it within the next few weeks.
The June 2022 security patch brings fixes for dozens of security and privacy-related vulnerabilities. It might also include general bug fixes and device stability improvements.
If you are a Galaxy S21 user in Germany, you can download and install the latest software update on your phone by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
