The Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra became available for pre-order in India a couple of weeks ago and early adopters have been enjoying a few benefits such as INR 10,000 in-store credit, INR 9,000 cashbacks, and discounts of up to INR 2,000 for pre-orders placed through the Samsung Shop app. Now Samsung India is sweetening the Galaxy Note 20 pre-order deal even further with an enhanced Upgrade Offer that's valid until the end of the month.

Customers pre-booking the Galaxy Note 20 or the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra can now take advantage of an upgrade bonus of up to INR 5,000 ($67) when exchanging an older phone for the newer flagship. More importantly, this new upgrade bonus covers smartphones with cracked screens, so if you have a defunct Galaxy smartphone with a broken screen lying around, you can use it to lower the price of the Galaxy Note 20 or Galaxy Note 20 Ultra by nearly $70.

The new upgrade bonus stacks with other Galaxy Note 20 pre-order deals

The way it works is prospective buyers have to register with the My Galaxy app if they haven't done so already, then tap the upgrade banner to begin the evaluation process. Once details regarding the condition of the device that's about to be traded in are filled in, customers will get the best quote for their device and be directed towards the nearest Samsung Store where they can exchange the damaged phone for an upgrade bonus of up to INR 5,000.

Even better is that the limited-time upgrade offer for devices with cracked screens doesn't interfere with any of the existing pre-booking bonuses for the Galaxy Note 20 series. The offer is valid until August 31, and the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra are expected to ship to customers in India beginning August 28.
