As scheduled, Samsung has launched the Galaxy M55 in India, alongside the Galaxy M15. The company unveiled the Galaxy M55 late last month by launching it in Brazil, and it is a slightly modified and more affordable version of the Galaxy A55, which the brand launched early last month. Let’s take a look at the price and the availability details of the Galaxy M55 for India, as well as, check out what the phone offers.

Galaxy M55 price and availability for India

Samsung has launched the Galaxy M55 in India in three variants, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. The low-end model costs INR 26,999, the mid-variant costs INR 29,999, and the top-end version costs INR 32,999, just like a previous leak had suggested.

Samsung is offering INR 2,000 off on the Galaxy M55 if you make the payment using any credit or debit card. However, there's no information about the validity of this offer. We are assuming that it is a limited-period benefit that Samsung is offering as a launch offer. So, grab it while you have the chance.

All three configurations are available in two colors: Light Green and Denim Black. The South Korean tech giant has made the phone available for purchase from its official website for the country and on Amazon. It should also be available to purchase from Samsung's authorized offline stores across the country.

What does the latest M-series phone offer?

The Galaxy M55 has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, and as mentioned earlier, is available with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It offers Android 14 (One UI 6.1) out of the box.

The rear camera setup of the smartphone has three sensors, a 50MP primary camera with PDAF and OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The front camera setup has a 50MP sensor. The primary camera at the rear and the front camera can record 4K videos at up to 30fps.

The Galaxy M55 has a 5,000mAh battery pack, and it is the first M-series phone with a 45W charging speed. Connectivity options include dual-SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB Type-C port. Lastly, the phone has stereo speakers and an optical, under-display fingerprint scanner.
