Samsung has finally released the stable version of One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy M54, which is something that the phone’s users have been waiting for a long time. It gives the device a fresh breath of life with visual changes and new features, which we will discuss in a moment.
One of the countries where the brand is rolling out the update is Thailand. It carries firmware version M546BXXUCFZE5 (via Mohammed Khatri). It also brings the May 2026 security patch. To get the update, you need to navigate to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
Coming back to the changes that One UI 8.5 brings, let’s discuss the redesigned user interface first. You get elements with transparent blur design as well as floating bottom bars in first-party apps, all of which make the UI look cleaner and more modern.
As for the new features, you get more customisability for the Quick Settings panel, support for Apple AirDrop, partial screen recording capability, direct voicemail, more camera filters, pollen index in Weather, enhanced theft protection, and improved battery management.
