    Galaxy M53 5G gets updated to One UI 5.1 with new software

    After the Galaxy M42 5G, one more mid-range Galaxy M series smartphone has started getting the One UI 5.1 update: Galaxy M53 5G. The device is getting the update in India, and more markets could get the update within the next few weeks.

    The One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy M53 5G comes with firmware version M536BXXU2CWB3. It has a download size of 1,237.25MB, and it brings the February 2023 security patch that fixes over four dozen security shortcomings found on the phone. Since it is a huge update, we recommend you download the update using a Wi-Fi network.

    If you are a Galaxy M53 5G user in India, you can download the new software update right away. You can do that by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also choose to download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
