The Galaxy M51 was officially introduced to Spain earlier this week. Although it is listed on the virtual shelves of Samsung's e-shop, the mid-range device is sold in Spain exclusively through Amazon. It's available in two color options, black and white, and it costs 389 euro. Amazon Spain offers buyers the option to drop the phone's price by up to 350 euro when trading in an existing device.
The Galaxy M51 is Samsung's first smartphone to boast a battery larger than 6,000mAh. It's equipped with a 7,000mAh unit that's been paired with a 25W fast charger, so even the most demanding smartphone users should have some battery charge left by the end of the day.
The 7,000mAh battery is the Galaxy M51's brightest highlight but it is not the only spec worth mentioning. The Galaxy M51 is a good all-around device and aside from a few software shortcomings owed to the limited version of One UI (Core), the phone boasts an excellent 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus Infinity-O display, a quad camera setup, a super fast side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and the Snapdragon 730G chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM.
Samsung is now selling the Galaxy M51 in Spain as an Amazon-exclusive but it's unclear whether this is a limited-time or permanent agreement with the retailer. Likewise, it remains to be seen if the Galaxy M51 in other European countries will also be sold exclusively through Amazon.
