Galaxy M34 5G gets safer with August 2024 security update

Samsung has lined up two major OS upgrades for the Galaxy M34 5G: Android 13-based One UI 6.1.1 and Android 14-based One UI 7.0. However, there’s quite a lot of time for the company to release those updates. Until then, the brand is rolling out a small software update to the Galaxy M34 5G. It offers the August 2024 security patch to the smartphone which fixes 50 security issues.

Currently, Samsung has made the update available for the international variant of the Galaxy M34 5G, which has the model number SM-M346B. It carries firmware version M346BXXS5CXH1. You can get it by clicking on the notification you receive about the availability of the update, by going to Settings » Software update » Download and install, or by downloading it from our database.

The next major update for the Galaxy M34 5G, which is One UI 6.1.1, will bring many new features to the smartphone. You can check out the new features it offers in our video below. However, note that some of the features mentioned in it will be exclusive to newer and higher-end smartphones. On the other hand, One UI 7.0 will offer some significant design changes.
