Thanks to a 17% discount on Amazon, the Galaxy A54 has never been cheaper. But there's a catch, and to take advantage of the temporary $375 price, you'll have to pick the Awesome Black color option. Thankfully, the black finish doesn't look bad at all, and it surely can fit any occasion.
Paying $375 for the Galaxy A54 is a great value proposition, as the phone normally costs $449 at Samsung's online shop, while some retailers sell it for a higher $499. And needless to say, the discount applies to the factory-unlocked US version. There are no carrier strings attached to this deal.
With the Galaxy A54, Samsung went a little further than usual and gave the mid-range device additional characteristics usually found in costlier phones. The Galaxy A54 has Gorilla Glass on the front and back, and it looks very similar to the Galaxy S23, except it has thicker bezels, smaller camera cutouts, and the materials it uses aren't as high quality.
Compared to previous generations, the Galaxy A54 also has a brighter, more accurate display thanks to Vision Booster, and it's not as harmful to eyesight thanks to a reduction of blue light emissions. The camera has OIS and better video recording capabilities and also touts improved performance in low-light conditions.
Samsung also gave the Galaxy A54 great battery life and excellent stereo speakers, and the phone has an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. It ships with Android 13 and One UI 5.1, and Samsung promised four major OS upgrades. Check out our Galaxy A54 review for more details, and head over to Amazon if you intend to buy the mid-range phone at a discount while it lasts.
