A few days ago, Samsung teased a new color for the Galaxy A54 in India. Today, the company has released the Awesome White color variant of the Galaxy A54 5G in the country. This new color is only available in the 256GB version of the phone and comes with a price tag of INR 38,999 (around $470).
Earlier this year, Samsung launched the Galaxy A34 5G and the Galaxy A54 5G in India. Back then, the Galaxy A54 5G was available in Awesome Graphite, Awesome Lime, and Awesome Violet colors. Now, the higher mid-range smartphone is available in the Awesome White color variant as well. Although the phone is priced at INR 38,999 (around $470), buyers can get it for as low as INR 36,999 (around $445) after factoring in an instant discount of INR 2,000 (around $25) if an SBI credit or debit card is used for the purchase.
The Galaxy A54 5G sports a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, HDR10+, 1,000 nits peak brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It uses the Exynos 1380 processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. It runs Android 13 out of the box and will get four major Android OS updates.
On the front, the Galaxy A54 5G has a 32MP selfie camera capable of 4K 30fps video recording. On the rear, the phone has a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro camera. The primary and ultrawide cameras can record 4K 30fps videos.
The phone has an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. It also features stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint reader, GPS, a dual-SIM card slot, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.
