In India, Samsung released One UI 6.1 to the Galaxy A52 before rolling it out to the more advanced and costlier version of that smartphone, the Galaxy A52s, which made owners of the latter very unhappy. Well, Samsung is now remedying that situation by releasing the One UI 6.1 to the Galaxy A52s in India.
According to a screenshot of the new software update for the Galaxy A52s shared by a user on Samsung’s Community forum for Korea, the firmware that brings One UI 6.1 to the smartphone is 2,223.93 MB in size and carries version A528BXXU7GXDC.
As usual, you can get the latest software update by going to Settings » Software update » Download and install. The new firmware will soon be available in our database. You can then download it from there and install the new software manually.
Even though One UI 6.1 for Galaxy A52s misses out on Galaxy AI, it brings many new features to the smartphone. For starters, it gives more options to customize the UI, including the option to add frames and effects to wallpapers, offering additional lock screen widgets, and allowing you to customize the alarm alert screen.
One UI 6.1 also brings many new features that will come in handy every day, including a more informative weather widget, video playback speed adjustment for more file types, and passkey support in Samsung Internet. It even offers smoother animations. You can check out all the new features One UI 6.1 brings to mid-range devices here.
