Samsung Galaxy A51 5G grabs April 2023 security update

After getting its last major software update in March 2023, the Galaxy A51 5G has started getting the latest security update. The April 2023 security update is now rolling out to the Galaxy A51 5G in various countries in Asia and Europe.

The latest software update for the Galaxy A51 5G bumps up the phone's firmware version to A516BXXS6FWC1. It brings the April 2023 security patch that fixes over 60 security vulnerabilities found in Samsung phones, including the critical ones related to Exynos processors and modems. The update doesn't bring any new features, but it might include general bug fixes and stability improvements.

The new update is currently available in France, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, the Czech Republic, the Nordic region, and the UK.
