Now that Samsung is done with the Galaxy S25 launch event, it could focus on other devices. Two of its upcoming phones include the Galaxy A36 and the Galaxy A56, and they are coming within the next two months, according to a new report.
Galaxy A36 and A56 to launch in March
The Galaxy A36 and the Galaxy A56 will be launched in mid-March in India and many other Asian countries. This information comes from tipster Abhishek Yadav, who has been pretty accurate in the past.
The designs of the Galaxy A36 and the Galaxy A56 have leaked already. They both have big screens with a punch-hole-shaped cutout for the front-facing camera and flat sides. They also have three rear-facing cameras arranged vertically, similar to most other Samsung phones.
Both phones feature 50MP primary rear-facing cameras with OIS and 12MP front-facing cameras. They both will likely support 4K 30fps video recording. The Galaxy A56 has a 12MP ultrawide camera, while the information about the Galaxy A36's secondary rear camera is not available yet.
The story continues after our Galaxy S25 hands-on video below.
The Galaxy A36 is said to feature the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, while the Galaxy A56 will use the Exynos 1580 processor. Both are 4nm chips and are fabricated by Samsung Foundry. The Exynos 1580 is the more powerful of the two and has newer CPU cores and a more powerful GPU.
Both phones will run Android 15-based One UI 7 software out of the box and will likely get six major Android OS updates. Both phones are powered by a 5,000mAh battery and support 45W fast charging.
