Now that Samsung has launched its flagship bar-shaped phones for the year, it is getting ready to introduce a bunch of mid-range smartphones. Before launching the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in the second half of this year, Samsung will launch the Galaxy A35 and the Galaxy A55, and both those phones are now showing signs of approaching their launches.

Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 could launch in India in the next few weeks

The Galaxy A35 and the Galaxy A55 have been spotted in places where phones usually appear before going official. Both smartphones have been spotted in the Indian BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification website's database with the model numbers SM-A356E/DS and SM-A556E/DS, respectively. It means both phones that will launch in India will have 5G connectivity and a dual-SIM card slot. The Galaxy A35 has also been spotted on Samsung's website for the UAE. As usual, these listings don't reveal any information about the specifications of upcoming phones.

Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 specifications

The Galaxy A35 and the Galaxy A55 are expected to bring some features previously only seen on high-end phones from Samsung. For example, the leaked images of the Galaxy A55 reveal that the device will be the first in the Galaxy A series to feature a metal frame. The Galaxy A55 will also feature a triple-camera setup. It will also use the Exynos 1480 processor with Xclipse 530 GPU that uses AMD's RDNA2 architecture. The device will have a 32MP selfie camera, a 50MP primary rear camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro camera.

The Galaxy A35 was spotted with the Exynos 1380 processor, which was used in the Galaxy A54, Galaxy F54, and Galaxy M54. The phone also features at least 6GB RAM and comes with an upgraded camera in the form of a 50MP rear camera. It will also get an updated design, featuring thinner bezels and a punch-hole-shaped display cutout for the selfie camera. Its predecessor, the Galaxy A34, features a U-shaped display notch. The Galaxy A35 and the Galaxy A55 have the ‘Key Island' design element, a 5,000mAh battery, and 25W fast charging.
