Samsung has released a software update to the Galaxy A33 in Europe. It brings Android 15-based One UI 7.0 and the May 2025 security patch.

Last week, Samsung, after a long wait, released the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update for the Galaxy A33. However, the brand had made it available only in its home country, South Korea, and Latin America. Now, the company is rolling it out in more regions.
Samsung has released the Android 15 (One UI 7) update to the Galaxy A33 in Europe (via Tarun Vats). It is 3,456.11MB in size and carries firmware version A336BXXUDFYE3. The update also brings the May 2025 security patch, which fixes many security issues.
To update your Galaxy A33 to the latest firmware, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install. You can also get it from our database and install it manually using Odin. We expect Samsung to release it in other regions in the next few days.
New user interface, smoother animations, and new features, Samsung Android 15-based One UI 7.0 brings it all. You can check out the top five upgrades it offers here. The Galaxy A33 is also eligible to get Samsung’s Android 16-based One UI 8.0.
At the moment, the brand is testing it on the Galaxy S25 series. Once that is complete, the company will release its stable version to all the eligible devices. Unfortunately, there’s no concrete information about when they may happen.
