The Android 12 update for the Galaxy A12 Nacho comes with firmware version A127FXXU5BVE4. It also includes the May 2022 security patch that fixes dozens of privacy and security vulnerabilities. The update is currently available in Russia, and it could expand to Europe within the next few days.
If you are a Galaxy A12 Nacho user in Russia, you can download and install the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our database and flash it manually, but you'll have to backup all your data before the flashing process.
The Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update brings a revamped UI design with the Color Palette feature, restyled widgets, a new widget picker UI, improved Dark Mode, and more lock screen widgets. It also comes with improved versions of all the stock apps, including Samsung Calendar, Samsung Gallery, Samsung Internet, Samsung Keyboard, and Samsung My Files.
Samsung has also improved the privacy and security of the phone through features like dedicated quick setting toggles to disable/enable the camera and mic access across the system and privacy indicators for camera and mic. The performance of the phone has been improved and the camera app has been cleaned up.
