Samsung has released the Android 12 update to the Galaxy A03s. The update is currently rolling out in Serbia, bringing One UI Core 4.1 to the entry-level smartphone. Other countries will soon get the Android 12 update for the Galaxy A03s.

The Galaxy A03s Android 12 update has firmware version A037FXXU1BVFB. It brings the June 2022 security update to fix over 60 privacy and security vulnerabilities. If you have a Galaxy A03s and live in Serbia, you can now update your phone to Android 12 and One UI Core 4.1 by heading to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the new firmware when it appears in our database and flash it manually.

Galaxy A03s Android 12 update (One UI Core 4.1) features

The new software has a revamped UI design with the Color Palette feature. It changes the color of certain UI elements based on your chosen wallpaper. The phone has received improved widget styling, a new widget selection UI, more lock screen widgets, bigger sliders for brightness and volume, and better Dark Mode. You can change the audio output target directly from the lock screen.

To improve privacy and security, Samsung has implemented the Privacy Dashboard, privacy indicators for active camera and microphone usage, and quick setting toggles to turn on/off camera and mic access across the system. You can also choose to offer apps accurate or approximate location and receive notifications when an app tries to copy data from your clipboard.

The updated Samsung Keyboard offers more stickers, GIFs, animated emoji pairs, and Grammarly-powered language suggestions. Samsung has added enhanced accessibility features. They are now more accessible via a floating button. More brightness, color, contrast, and magnification options have been added.

The camera app has been cleaned up and the video starts recording as soon as you hit the shutter button. Earlier, video recording started after you click and release the shutter button. The Pro mode in the Camera app has received level indicators. The Calendar app has received a new widget. You can quickly add calendar entries, search in a better way, share info with others, and recover deleted events.

The Gallery app offers enhanced stories and a way to view where each image was captured on a map. You can now arrange and sort albums more easily, remaster blurry shots or old photos, and remove sensitive information from an image (location, time, date). You can even select several photos and edit their information simultaneously.

You can walk back on edits as the original image is available even after editing. You can adjust the lighting in a photo and add emojis and stickers. The sharing menu has received a more straightforward design. You can even edit its layout and place the most-used sharing options at the front and center.

Samsung Internet has received a new widget to search for information directly from the home screen. It offers better search suggestions and a way to start the web browser in Secret Mode. The Device Care section has been redesigned and provides an easier way to diagnose phone problems. Pop-up window options can now be pinned for easier access.

Samsung has also improved Picture in Picture, Edge Panels, charging information display, and search quality in the Settings app. The phone now also offers a report of all the times you’ve used the phone while driving so that you can better understand the risk. You can quickly initiate calls while messaging and search for information easily.
