Days ahead of the expected announcement, Samsung's upcoming Fan Edition tablets have leaked in full. The images, features, specifications, and pricing of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ have leaked, revealing an unexpected feature that is only seen on high-end tablets.
Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ specifications
According to a report from WinFuture, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ feature an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. That's impressive! After the Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9+, and Tab S9 Ultra, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ are the only tablets to feature a proper dust and water resistance rating.
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE has a 10.4-inch LCD screen with 2,304 x 1,440 pixels resolution, while the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ has a 12.4-inch LCD screen with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels resolution. Both tablets feature a 90Hz refresh rate, which is excellent for most users as it offers smoother scrolling and gaming. Only the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ has S Pen compatibility, though.
Both tablets come equipped with the Exynos 1380 processor, featuring four high-performance Cortex-A78 CPU cores. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE starts at 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, and there is a 256GB version of the tablet with 8GB RAM. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ has a minimum of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, but it goes up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Both tablets have a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ with 8MP primary rear cameras and 12MP front-facing cameras. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ also has an 8MP ultrawide camera on the rear. All the cameras on both tablets can record 4K 30fps videos. The Galaxy Tab S9 is powered by an 8,000mAh battery, while the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ has a 10,090mAh battery, and both support up to 45W fast charging.
Other features of the tablet include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, option 5G (in cellular versions), a USB Type-C port, and stereo speakers.

The Galaxy Tab S9 FE starts at €529, while the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ has a starting price of €699. You need to pay €100 more if you want the 5G version of these tablets.
