Samsung blesses Galaxy A54 with July 2024 security update

With only a few days remaining for the month to end, Samsung is rolling out the July 2024 security update to the Galaxy A54, which fixes 58 security issues.

Currently, only the carrier-locked variant of the Galaxy A54 for the United States, which has the model number SM-A546U, is getting the latest security update. The brand should make it available for other variants of the phone soon.

The new software update carries the firmware version A546USQS8CXG1. To get the latest security update, navigate to Settings » Software update » Download and install or download it from our database and install it using Odin.

The Galaxy A54 is eligible to get Samsung’s upcoming Android 15-based One UI 7.0, which according to a massive leak, brings a new design in many places. The new software should also offer plenty of new and useful features.
