After opening pre-orders for its first mixed reality headset in the UK last month, Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy XR in the country. You can now purchase the headset directly, and for a limited time, Samsung is offering a free Explorer Pack worth £665 with every purchase.
The Galaxy XR is available in the UK directly from Samsung’s website in a single color: Shadow (Silver). The headset doesn’t include controllers, so if you want the Galaxy XR controllers, you’ll need to pay £249 (after an ongoing 30% discount). If you purchase the headset during the promotional period, you’ll receive the Explorer Pack, which includes the following:

If you need prescription lenses, you can order them for your Galaxy XR from Samsung's website while buying the headset. The Galaxy XR Travel case also costs £249 extra (after an ongoing 30% discount). Surprisingly, the headset comes with a charger and a charging cable in the box. The power bank that powers the device also comes in the box.
You can get an additional 10% discount on the Galaxy XR if you buy it with a qualifying Galaxy smartphone by 4 August, 2026. If you buy Galaxy Buds or a Galaxy Watch with the Galaxy XR by 30 September, 2026, you can get a 10% discount on the wireless earbuds or the smartwatch.
