With the Galaxy S23 launch out of the way, fans are now focused on the new Galaxy A models for 2023. The Galaxy A54 is certainly one of the most highly anticipated models. It's the perfect mid-range phone from Samsung and the Galaxy A5x models always tend to perform very well in the market.

It's expected that this device will be released in the next couple of months. When it does arrive, those looking forward to it will be happy to know that it's going to be a bit easier to repair than the Galaxy S23.

Galaxy A54 is going to be a bit easier to repair

That's no surprise. The Galaxy S23 is a flagship phone with more complex components. Even though the repairability of Samsung's flagships has improved over the years, these limitations remain when compared to a mid-range phone like the Galaxy A54.

The folks at GalaxyClub have spotted the support page for the Galaxy A54 (SM-A546B) on Samsung France's website. The page mentions that the Galaxy A54 will have a repairability score of 8.4. That's marginally better than the Galaxy S23's 8.2 score. Not that this will have any real impact on your experience with the Galaxy A54.

Several Galaxy A54 leaks have emerged and provided us with hints about what to expect from the new mid-range device. It's likely going to feature a 6.6-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with an Exynos 1380 chipset and 6GB RAM coupled with 128/256GB torage. There may also be a 50-megapixel primary sensor in addition to a 12-megapixel ultra-wide and 5-megapixel macro camera. The device is likely going to come with a 5,000mAh battery.

Samsung is yet to confirm when the Galaxy A54 is going to be unveiled but we can expect to hear more about it in the coming weeks.

One UI 6.1 update could go live on more Galaxy phones next week

One UI 6.1 debuted with the Galaxy S24 series, but in late March, the update landed on several 2023 phones OTA (over-the-air). Now, with those priority phones out of the way, Samsung has turned its attention to bringing One UI 6.1 on even more devices, including 2022 flagship phones and the mid-range Galaxy A54 from […]

Galaxy A54’s camera can easily keep up with the newer A55

Although the new Galaxy A55 from Samsung seems to be wiping the floor with the older Galaxy A54 in the display department, the same cannot be said about the cameras. According to independent reviewer DxOMark, the Galaxy 54 and A55 camera systems perform almost the same. These results aren't all that surprising, seeing how the […]

Galaxy A54 users need not care much about the sequel’s 12GB RAM

Galaxy A54 users need not care much about the sequel’s 12GB RAM

One of the most impressive characteristics of the new Samsung Galaxy A55 is that it has an option for 12GB of RAM — at least in some markets. That's very unlike Samsung's mid-range phones, and it is mighty impressive considering that even more expensive devices, such as the base Galaxy S24, are missing out on […]

Galaxy A55’s display wipes the floor with the Galaxy A54 and S23 FE

Galaxy A55’s display wipes the floor with the Galaxy A54 and S23 FE

Samsung's new Galaxy A55 brings several improvements over the Galaxy A54, but looking at the official spec sheets, you would think the display isn't one of them. Granted, the A55 has a slightly larger 6.6-inch panel instead of a 6.4-inch one, but that results in a lower pixel density. Otherwise, the two phones share the […]
