If you think you're spending too much time on your phone or want to keep a closer eye on your digital habits and build healthier ones, Samsung's Digital Wellbeing app can be a great help.

Ironically, however, getting to Digital Wellbeing requires a bit of extra menu diving. You have to open the Settings app, which might not even have a shortcut on your home screen, then scroll down and tap the feature once you find it.

The search bar in Settings can also get you to Digital Wellbeing, but it's not going to be any faster. However, there's a better way to get quick access to this app.

As with many other Samsung apps that seem tucked away in menus at first, you can create a proper home screen shortcut for Digital Wellbeing. It's easy. Here's how.

  • Open Settings > Digital wellbeing and parental controls > tap the three-dot menu button > Settings > Show Digital Wellbeing on Apps screen.

You can then access the apps drawer on your Galaxy device and create a home screen shortcut either by long-pressing the Digital Wellbeing app icon or by dragging and dropping it onto the home screen.

From now on, you can access daily insights about app usage, screen time, content restrictions, and more without any extra menu diving. All that information is at your fingertips.
