“The bank stated that after the implementation of the app, clients will be able to instantly add their debit, credit, and prepaid cards from Al Salam Bank to the Samsung Wallet application from anywhere around the world with just one click.” (via GCC Business News)
Samsung Wallet merged with Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass last year. After the merger, the app was released into more markets, including Denmark, Finland, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Norway, Oman, Qatar, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Vietnam, the UAE, and of course Bahrain.
The service now adopted by Al Salam Bank is reportedly approved for use at supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, pharmacies, retail shops, and more, both in and outside Bahrain.
Samsung Wallet is more than just a mobile payment solution. Now it can also store keys for UWB (Ultra-Wideband) smart door locks. The same app can store boarding passes, cryptocurrencies, other types of digital keys, ID cards, loyalty, and membership cards, login details and passwords, and more.

In his free time, he enjoys watching shows, documentaries, and stand-up comedy; listening to music, taking walks, and occasionally playing old(er) video games.
