The One UI 6 (Android 14) update started rolling out to the Galaxy A54, Samsung's most premium mid-range phone in 2023, around three weeks back. The US was one of the first markets to get the update, but the initial rollout was limited to a few carriers.

But the update is finally available for all Galaxy A54 owners in the US, as it has now been released for unlocked units. The Android 14 update for unlocked Galaxy A54 models sports firmware version A546U1UEU5BWK6 and is available over the air and through our firmware archive.

To download the update over the air, open your Galaxy A54's Settings app, navigate to Software update, and select Download and install. Do that a few times or check a little later if the update doesn't show up on the first attempt. Alternatively, grab the Android 14 firmware from our archives and install it on the phone over a USB connection using a Windows PC.

For a detailed look at all the features and changes in One UI 6, check out the videos below and also take a look at our extensive guide, which includes screenshots comparing how things have changed in One UI 6 compared to One UI 5.
