Samsung has launched a 33% discount for one of its high-performance curved gaming monitors, the G85SB, also known as the Odyssey OLED G8.

With this limited-time deal, you can save $500 on the G85SB OLED monitor and buy it for $999 outright. Alternatively, you can pay $41.67 per month on a 24-month Samsung Financing plan.

In addition to this 33% discount, Samsung says you could also save up to an extra $260 when you enroll and verify in an eligible Samsung Offer Program.

The Odyssey OLED G8 is a massive 34-inch curved gaming monitor with a 1800R curvature, a resolution of 3440 x 1440, a refresh rate of 175Hz, HDR True Black 400, a typical brightness of 250 nits, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, 178 degrees horizontal and vertical viewing angles, and a gray-to-gray response time of 0.03ms.

This monitor has a slim metal design with the CoreSync and Core Lighting+ RGB elements at the back, and it sits on a height-adjustable stand with tilt functionality.

In addition to being a fantastic gaming monitor with a slick design and great specifications, the Odyssey OLED G8 can also double as a smart TV. To a degree.

The Odyssey doesn't have coaxial cable inputs but it runs Tizen OS, similar to Samsung's TVs, which means you can use it stand-alone to browse the web (with or without a keyboard and mouse) and stream apps like Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, and so on. It even comes with one of Samsung's modern remotes.

Hit the “Buy” button below if you want to save $500 or more on this versatile and powerful gaming monitor while the limited-time deal lasts.
