Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Watch alongside the Galaxy Note 9 on August 9. It's the successor to the Gear S3 that the company has launched with new branding. The Galaxy Watch is still a Tizen OS-powered wearable that's unquestionably a Samsung smartwatch. It's available in two different sizes. Samsung had confirmed the price and release date of the Wi-Fi variant initially while mentioning that these details will be revealed for the LTE variant later.

The Galaxy Watch LTE price on T-Mobile has now been confirmed. Samsung has listed the T-Mobile variant of the Galaxy Watch on its website. No other carrier is listed right now but more will likely be added in the days to come.

Interested customers will be able to purchase the 42mm Galaxy Watch LTE in Rose Gold for $379.99. The 46mm model will be available in Silver for $399.99. It's only a $50 difference from the Wi-Fi variants that cost $329.99 and $349.99 respectively.

With the Galaxy Watch LTE price confirmed, it's now possible to pre-order this variant through Samsung's website. The company says that this variant will ship the week of September 2. The Wi-Fi variant will be released on August 24 in the United States and August 31 in South Korea. Customers who pre-order the smartwatch will receive a free band as a gift.

The Galaxy Watch comes with a new Exynos 9110 Dual core 1.15GHz processor with 768MB of RAM and 4GB storage. The LTE variant has 1.5GB of RAM. It works with Samsung and non-Samsung Android smartphones powered by version 5.0 or later as well as the iPhone 5 and above with iOS 9.0 or later.

The 46mm and 42mm models feature a 1.3-inch and 1.2-inch Always-On Circular Super AMOLED displays respectively. The device has been manufactured to the MIL-STD-810 durability standard and is water resistant up to 50 meters.

T-Mobile is mentioned as the only carrier with the LTE Galaxy Watch on Samsung's website right now. Given that its predecessor was also available on other carriers, it may only be a matter of time before availability details are confirmed for other major carriers as well.
