Galaxy S6 price and release date for India confirmed

Samsung today conducted an event in India to formally launch the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge in the country. SamMobile is at the event where Samsung India finally confirmed prices for the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge. The release date for these devices has also been confirmed. The Galaxy S6 will be available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variants in India for Rs. 49,900, Rs. 55,900 and Rs. 61,900 respectively. The Galaxy S6 edge will also be available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variants for Rs. 58,900, Rs. 64,900 and Rs. 70,900 respectively. Both devices will be manufactured in the country and will have support for 4G LTE bands in India.

Samsung India also confirmed that it starts taking pre-orders for the new devices from today. The Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge will both be released in the country on April 10th, that's when Samsung releases both devices for the first time in 20 countries around the world.
