Mophie's 3,000 mAh Juice Pack for Samsung Galaxy S5 to launch soon

We all love long battery life, but it's something that continues to elude us in most cases with today's smartphones. The Galaxy S5 is among the best performers out there when it comes to battery life, but for those times when you want to use your phone without taking a single break, the greatest of smartphones, with the largest of batteries, fail to do the job. That's where extended batteries come in – we've seen Mugen launch a 5,900 mAh extended battery for the Galaxy S5, and now Mophie has announced its plans to launch its own version of an add-on battery for Samsung's latest flagship.

Mophie will be launching a 3,000 mAh Juice Pack for the Galaxy S5 on September 8, for a price of $99.95. The battery also comes with a USB 3.0 port and can offer up to 100 percent extra battery life – as usual, that's a theoretical claim, but you can certainly expect to see your Galaxy S5's battery life increase by a considerable amount when its 2,600 mAh battery combines with the 3,000 mAh capacity of the Juice Pack.
