Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 to be available in the U.S. from March 9

Samsung has been launching the Galaxy Tab Pro series in various territories over the last month. While the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 have been available for purchase in the U.S. since February 13, Samsung mentioned that the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 won’t be hitting store shelves until March. Today, the manufacturer has announced that the gargantuan tablet will be available starting March 9. Like the other two versions, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 will be available on a host of online retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Tiger Direct, PC Richard and Sons, Fry’s, Newegg, and Samsung’s official store.

The 32 GB version of the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 will cost $650 and will come with over $800 worth of digital goods through the Galaxy Perks program. The tablet comes with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1600, same as other tablets in the Galaxy Tab Pro series. It also features 3 GB RAM, Exynos 5 Octa-core 5420 processor, Android 4.4 KitKat with the new Magazine UX skin and a 9,500 mAh battery. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 comes with an 8 MP camera at the back and a 2 MP shooter at the front, both with the ability to shoot full-HD video.
