Samsung unveiled the rugged XCover 6 Pro and the Galaxy Tab Active 4 earlier this year. While the tablet was launched in the US late last month, the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro was waiting in line to debut. Well, the time has finally come, and Samsung has launched the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro in the US at a price of $599.99 through the US carrier Verizon. The phone will be available via Samsung's website, Amazon, IT partners, and other carriers later this month.

Also, you can get your Galaxy XCover 6 Pro for a monthly installment of $16.66 for a period of 36 months at 0% APR. If you are looking for a rugged phone for extensive usage, then the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro is meant to satisfy that need. It comes with a 6.6-inch FHD+ 120Hz display with increased sensitivity, making it easier to use while wearing gloves or when your hands are wet.

The Galaxy XCover 6 Pro features a 4,050 mAh replaceable battery

The Galaxy XCover 6 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM. It comes with 128GB of onboard storage and a 4,050mAh battery, which is removable and replaceable to keep up with the most challenging work environments. On top of that, it supports 15W wired charging. Speaking of the cameras, it comes with a 50MP primary, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 13MP selfie shooter.

The Galaxy XCover 6 Pro being a rugged phone, comes with a protective shell to protect it from drops, IP68 water and dust resistance, and the MIL-STD-810H certification. For the display, there is Corning's Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. The phone features two programmable buttons that you can assign to trigger any function quickly.

You can also use the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro as an enterprise-grade barcode scanner through Knox Capture or as a walkie-talkie. If you are a business or organization representative, you can get up to a $250 discount, which takes some amount off of the $599.99 retail price tag.
