Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra get One UI 9.0 beta update

Samsung has started rolling out the first One UI 9.0 beta for the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra in India.

The update adds a more customizable quick panel plus improvements to Samsung DeX, Samsung Notes, and accessibility features.

Users can join the beta through the Samsung Members app and then check for the update in Settings.

In June, we learned that Samsung was developing One UI 9.0 for the Galaxy S23 series. Now, after almost three months, the company has released its beta version to users, allowing Galaxy S23 owners to experience the new software before it releases the stable build.

Samsung has released the first One UI 9.0 beta update for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra in India with firmware version S91xBXXUAZZHL and a download size of over 3.4GB (varies slightly for each model). It also includes the August 2026 security patch.

Compared to One UI 8.5, One UI 9.0 offers a more customizable quick panel, enhancements to Samsung DeX and Samsung Notes, and new accessibility features.

To get the beta version of One UI 9.0 on your Galaxy S23, install and open the Samsung Members app on your eligible phone, log into the app using the same Samsung account tied to your device, and then tap on the One UI 9.0 beta program banner, and enroll your device in it.

Once the phone is enrolled into the One UI 9.0 Beta Program, open the Settings app, navigate to Software update and tap Check for updates. Once the update is checked and downloaded, tap the Restart button to initiate the full installation process.
