Samsung started rolling out the August 2026 security patch later than usual and initially did so at a very slow pace. However, with the month about to end and many new and high-end devices still awaiting the update, the company has picked up the pace. Now, Samsung has released the update for the Galaxy Z TriFold.
As usual, Samsung is offering it first in its home country, South Korea. The update is 523.06MB in size and carries firmware version F968NKSS7BZH3 (via Samsung Community). The latest security update addresses 56 security issues present in the previous firmware, making the phone more secure than before.
Samsung should make the August 2026 security patch for the Galaxy Z TriFold available in more countries around the globe gradually over the next few days. To check if the brand has released it in your country, go to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.
The latest version of One UI that’s currently available for the Galaxy Z TriFold is One UI 8.5. Considering that the company promised to offer it seven major OS upgrades, it is eligible to get the tech giant’s next version of its custom Android interface, One UI 9.0.
