Gaming on Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra
Samsung is seeing incredible demand for the Galaxy Z Fold 8. The company has increased production by one million units to meet the demand following the successful pre-order rush.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 has caught the interest of a very promising demographic. Reports indicate that the device has gained popularity among younger customers in South Korea, particularly women.
Previous Galaxy Z Fold models were widely viewed as a device for middle-aged men, who opted for the device's larger display primarily for productivity use cases.
The wider Galaxy Z Fold 8 has caught the attention of a demographic that was perhaps not as interested in the form factor previously. More than half of Galaxy Z Fold 8 customers who bought the device through Samsung's online store in South Korea are in their teens to 30s.
They made up the bulk of all Galaxy Z Fold 8 buyers, with purchases made by women in this age group more than doubling compared to the previous model. Younger women, who were not previously seen as the target market for the Galaxy Z Fold phones, are showing more interest in the device.
A crucial change in perception has occurred after the Galaxy Z Fold 8's launch, enabling the series to shed its perception as an old-man phone. The perception change has largely been delivered by the new wider form factor, which is more ideal for content consumption and general use.
