While Samsung has released four One UI 9.0 beta updates for the Galaxy S26 series, the One UI 9.0 Beta Program has not yet opened for any other phone. Now, it appears that the South Korean firm could soon release the One UI 9.0 beta update for the Galaxy S25 series in select markets.
Samsung has created a new beta-program entry for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra in the One UI Beta Program section of the Samsung Members forum (via @tarunvats33). This suggests that the company is preparing to open the beta program for more Galaxy phones, with the Galaxy S25 series likely to be next in line for access to One UI 9.0 in beta form.

The Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra became the world's first phones to run the stable version of One UI 9.0. These phones will become available for purchase later this week. With their release approaching, Samsung appears to be preparing to expand One UI 9.0 to more eligible Galaxy devices.
One UI 9.0 is based on Android 17. While it brings many under-the-hood changes due to the newer Android version, its user-facing changes have been limited, especially compared to the changes introduced with One UI 8.5.
