Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy S23 FE, bringing the June 2026 security patch to the Fan Edition phone. A similar security update was released for the other Galaxy S23 series devices last week.
A new software update with firmware version S711BXXSGGZF2 and a download size of 282.40MB is now available for the Galaxy S23 FE in India and several other Asian and European countries. It includes the June 2026 security patch, which fixes a total of 45 security vulnerabilities discovered in Galaxy devices. The update may also include general performance, reliability, and stability improvements.
If you own a Galaxy S23 FE and live in one of the eligible countries, you can check for the update by opening the Settings app and navigating to Software update > Check for updates.
Once the update has finished downloading, tap Install now to begin the installation process. The installation usually takes around 5 to 10 minutes.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S23 FE in late 2023 with Android 13. It received the Android 14 update in December 2023, Android 15 (One UI 7.0) in May 2025, and Android 16 (One UI 8.0) in September 2025. The phone is currently running One UI 8.5 and is expected to receive the One UI 9.0 update before the end of this year.
