Samsung is expected to launch its next lineup of flagship smartphones with foldable displays on July 22, 2026, which is less than a month from now. It is said to have three devices: Galaxy Z Fold 8 (Wide), Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 8.
The leaks about these phones have revealed the renders of the Ultra and clamshell models, and a real-world image of the regular book-style foldable variant. However, the latter wasn’t very clear. Now, a new leak about the phone gives us another look at its design.
On X, @Alfaturk16 has shared images of alleged cases for the Galaxy Z Fold 8. They show the rear of the phone, giving us a better idea about how the device may look. As you can see in the pictures below, the phone has a wider form factor than the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, to accommodate the wider, 4:3 aspect ratio inner display and two cameras at the rear sitting on an elevated platform, a design philosophy that Samsung has been following for recent devices.

According to previous reports, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 will have a 5.4-inch outer display and a 7.6-inch inner screen, both using OLED technology and featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is expected to sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. At the rear, it will have a 50MP camera with a wide lens, OIS, and PDAF, and a 50MP camera with an ultra-wide lens. On the cover and foldable displays, there should be one 10MP camera each. It will pack a 4,800mAh battery.
