The Galaxy A27 is a mid-range Samsung phone announced in June 2026. It brings a few upgrades over its predecessor, the Galaxy A26, but also takes a step back in some aspects. The phone has a more efficient and slightly more powerful processor, a more modern design, and new software features.

One of the biggest upgrades the Galaxy A27 brings over its predecessor is its more modern design, thanks to its Infinity-O design with a punch-hole-shaped cutout for the front-facing camera. In comparison, the Galaxy A26 had an Infinity-U design for the screen, which made it look very old. Samsung has also made the bezels thinner all around the screen.
The phone has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, up to a 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection.
The phone has an IP64 rating for dust and water splash resistance, a downgrade compared to the Galaxy A26, which has an IP67 rating. It comes in four colors: Black, Blue, Light Green, Light Pink. It measures 162.4 x 78.2 x 7.8mm and weighs 200g.
The Galaxy A27 has a 12MP front-facing camera with Super HDR for selfies and vlogs. On the rear, it has a 50MP primary camera with OIS and autofocus, a 5MP ultrawide camera with a fixed-focus lens, and a 2MP macro camera with a fixed-focus lens.
The phone's front-facing and primary rear-facing cameras can capture up to 4K 30fps videos.
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy A27 with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, which has 7% higher CPU performance and 8% faster GPU performance than the Galaxy A26's Exynos 1380 chip. The phone has 6GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. It has a microSD card slot for storage space expansion.
The phone runs Android 16-based One UI 8.5 software out of the box. It will get six major Android OS updates and security patches for up to six years.
It has 5G, LTE, GNSS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and a USB 2.0 Type-C port. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast wired charging.
The Galaxy A27 is priced at €349 in Europe and $350 in the USA. The price varies by country and region.
