Since the last few days, Samsung has increased the frequency of updating Galaxy smartphones with One UI 8.5, most probably in a bid to complete the rollout quickly and focus on One UI 9.0. To that extent, the brand has now offered the new software to the Galaxy F56 and the Galaxy F55.
From what we could gather, one of the first countries where the company is rolling out the updates is India. The new firmware for the Galaxy F56 carries version E566BXXU5CZE2, and that for the Galaxy F55 carries version E556BXXU5DZE3 (via Samsung Community).
To get the update, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. If you live in any other country, you can check for the availability of the new software for your region by following the same steps.
Like most new versions of Samsung’s Android customisations, One UI 8.5 also brings a redesigned user interface and new features. However, the visual changes aren’t as huge as they were with One UI 8.0.
