Last week, Samsung released the stable version of One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2) for the Galaxy Z TriFold. However, the brand had made it available only in its home country, South Korea. Now, the company has started rolling it out in more regions globally.
Apart from South Korea, Samsung launched the Galaxy Z TriFold in five countries: China, Singapore, Taiwan, the UAE, and the US. Among those, we can confirm that the brand has released the stable version of One UI 8.5 for the phone in three regions: Singapore, Taiwan, and the UAE.
The update bringing the new software to the phone in these countries carries firmware version F968BXXU4BZDP. You can get it by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Samsung may be rolling it out in China and the US as we speak. If not, the brand should offer the update in those regions in the next few days.
One UI 8.5 brings a new user interface as well as many new features related to accessibility, battery and power, Bixby, Camera, Clock, communication, connectivity, Galaxy AI, home screen and lock screen, Quick Share, Samsung Health, security and privacy, and Weather. You can check them out in action in out video below.
