Last week, Samsung started rolling out the stable version of One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2) to eligible Galaxy smartphones. One of the first devices to get it was the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. However, back then, the brand released it only in its home country, South Korea, and said that the global release of the new software would begin on May 11, 2026.
Staying true to its promise, Samsung started rolling out the stable version of One UI 8.5 globally. Initially, the company offered it to the Galaxy S25 series, then to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7, and now, the tech giant has made it available for their distant cousin, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. At the moment, Samsung is offering it in Europe.
