The Galaxy XR, Samsung's first XR headset, was launched towards the end of 2025. Samsung launched it at $1,799 and while it doesn't offer any discounts on the device, it tries to sweeten the deal through freebies.
It previously offered $1,000+ of freebies and while some of those offers have been discontinued, you can still get a decent chunk of free stuff with the device.
The free stuff offered initially was part of its Explorer Pack. Everyone who bought the headset before the end of 2025 got them. Samsung has tweaked some offerings since then, but it's still offering a generous amount of stuff to customers.
Customers who buy the Galaxy XR in the United States receive a year's worth of Google AI Pro, which is a $240 value. They also get a full game NFL Pro Era incentive that's valued at $29.99. Customers with a creative inclination will appreciate the 12 months of Project Pulsar from Adobe.
There's also a 3-month subscription to YouTube TV valued at $249. A $69.99 Calm Premium subscription is included in addition to a year-long YouTube Premium subscription valued at $167.99. Customers also get a $20 value full download for Asteroid available in addition to a 12-month Google Play Pass that costs $60.
The Galaxy XR costs $1,799 in the United States. Customers can get it on financing for $75.01 per month.
