Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition in the United States to provide families with a safe, child-friendly digital experience.
It combines Samsung's robust Galaxy platform with tools that allow parents to foster creativity and curiosity in their children while ensuring they remain safe online.
The Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition has built-in parental controls. Parents can control screen time, manage which apps and content are accessible. Setting it all up takes just a few minutes, enabling parents to fully personalize the experience for their family.
The device is really not all that different from the standard Galaxy Tab A11+. It just has a few software guardrails in place that make it a more suitable device for kids who are not fully ready for unrestricted access to the internet. It just so happens to be $100 more expensive.
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition with an 11-inch display that as a 1920 x 1200 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It also features quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, a 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as a chunky 7,040mAh battery that provides up to 15 hours of video playback. The tablet supports 25W super fast charging.
Samsung is selling the Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition in the United States for $349.99 in classic Gray with a range of colorful, kid-friendly cases. The tablet comes with 128GB of internal storage and supports microSD expansion up to 1TB.
Like most of Samsung's devices now, the Galaxy Tab A11+ Kids Edition will receive up to seven Android OS upgrades and as many years of security updates.
