After the Galaxy Z and Galaxy S series, Samsung has now started rolling out the April 2026 security patch to the Galaxy A series smartphones, and one among the first phones to get it is the Galaxy A54.
Usually, Samsung releases a new security patch for a phone first in its home country, South Korea, and in this case, it is no different. The update carries firmware version A546SKSSGEZC2 (via Samsung Community).
Typically, after releasing an update for a phone in its home country, Samsung start rolling it out in other regions in the next few days. We expect the brand to follow the same strategy with the Galaxy A54’s April 2026 security patch as well.
The latest security patch fixes 47 security vulnerabilities, making the phone more secure. You can read more about it here. To check if Samsung has made the update available in your region, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
