The Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra units around the globe, including India, are getting a new software update. It brings the March 2026 security patch, which fixes 65 security vulnerabilities, making these phones more secure than before. The latest update is 334.07MB in size and comes with firmware version S92xBXXUDCZC2.
Samsung had released the March 2026 security patch to the Korean variants of the smartphones a few days ago. The two versions of the phones for the US, the factory-unlocked and carrier-locked, are yet to be released. The brand should release it for them in the next couple of days. To get it, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
On a related note, recently, Samsung opened the One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2) beta program for the Galaxy S24 series. It allows people to experience the new software, which brings a new UI and new features, before the brand releases it more widely.
While Samsung is yet to start rolling out the stable version of the new software for older devices, it has already started developing One UI 9.0. We got our hands on one of its early builds, and you can check out the discoveries we made in it in our video below.
