Yesterday, Samsung opened the One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2) beta for the Galaxy S24 series, allowing users to experience its latest Android customisation before the brand rolls it out to everyone. However, less than a day later, the program appears to have already reached capacity, at least in India, preventing new users from joining it.

On Samsung’s Community forum for India, a Galaxy S24 user reports that in the Samsung Members app, when they tried to enroll their device in the One UI 8.5 beta program, it wouldn’t allow them, saying “We’ve reached the participant limit for this beta programme. Thanks for your interest. Try again for the next beta.

On the post, a few other Galaxy S24 users commented saying that they faced the same issue. While Samsung hasn’t disclosed the participant limit for the One UI 8.5 beta program in India, it now appears that all available slots have been filled. It means that new users will have to wait unless the company opens up more spots.

One UI 8.5 brings many changes and upgrades. For starters, it offers a user interface that looks cleaner and more sophisticated; it is also more customisable than before. Then there are many new features, making the phone more useful for you. In our video below, we have demonstrated all the major upgrades it offers.
