A few days ago, Samsung offered the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 units in Korea with the March 2026 security patch. Now, the brand is rolling out the updates for these phones that offer the latest security patch in the US.
Currently, Samsung seems to be rolling out the updates to the carrier-locked variants of these phones. Below are their firmware versions:
To get the update, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. The March 2026 security patch fixes 65 security issues.
On a related note, a few weeks ago, Samsung opened the One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2) beta program for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7. It brings a redesigned UI and new features. The brand is expected to release its stable version in the next few weeks. Soon after, the company may release it to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
