In January, Samsung increased the prices of three of its smartphones, the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy F17 in India, most likely due to rising memory and storage prices. Last month, the brand hiked the prices of these devices once again. Now, the company is planning to increase the prices of its tablets in the country.
On X, Abhishek Yadav claims that Samsung is planning to hike the price of Galaxy Tab models in India on March 1, 2026. This is the same tipster who reported that the brand would increase the price of Galaxy A smartphones before it did. Considering that, the latest report from him could very well turn out to be true.
At the moment, there’s no information about why Samsung is planning to increase the prices of its tablets. However, it could be due to rising memory prices. If you were planning to get a Samsung tablet in India, you should go ahead with the purchase before the brand announces a price hike.
For your reference, the company’s flagship tablet, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, starts at INR 120,999. Whereas its most affordable tablet in the country, the Galaxy Tab A11, starts at INR 16,999. However, they may be available at lower prices at various retailers.
